Our model projects build upon over 30 years of international technical assistance work at Project for Public Spaces, including projects with individual clients in more than 70 communities to develop new markets and revitalize historic markets.
We facilitate workshops and surveys, analyze public data, and liaise with stakeholders and government officials to identify challenges and opportunities facing public market systems. Our analysis leads to policy recommendations that enhance public markets’ and vendors’ financial health and expand the community benefits of market systems.
These partnerships can be funded by a variety of sources that typically include foundation grants, public funds, and private philanthropy.
